2nd annual stowe trip
President's day weekend marked our 2nd annual girls trip to Stowe Mtn., Vermont. Cross country skiing on Saturday, downhill skiing Sunday and Monday and, in between, lots of good music, sitting by the fire, and yummy meals and homemade snacks! It was just as much fun, if not more, than last year!

meet in the middle
My valentine and I decided we were going to meet halfway to have dinner on Valentine’s evening. After some quick Googling, I learned that there is a neat website that will give you a meeting spot at the literal half-way point. At http://www.meetways.com/ , you can type in your 2 addresses and a point of interest, such as “coffee shop” or “restaurant,” and it will provide you with a few options where you can meet in the middle.
It turns out, the halfway point between NYC and Princeton, NJ is a local brewery in a little town called Woodbridge, NJ. I love unique and local spots and this place was a jackpot find! Conveniently (considering I do not own a car), this place was steps away from the Woodbridge train stop, built in an old brick train station.
We sampled some of the local brews and shared a delicious dinner before watching some “Linsanity” action at the bar. I find that I love tasting the different beers, rather than choosing a pint. Their Coal Train Porter was unanimously voted best beer.
We parted ways on the platform and I was back to the city in no time. Great night, Sammy K!
